Essential Requirements
Applicants should hold a Senior Certificate and be competent in using Microsoft Office Suite applications like Word and Excel. Proficiency in other office administration tools will be considered an advantage. The potential candidate needs to demonstrate good communication skills, in both spoken and written English. The individual should have the aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating effective multitasking and administrative capabilities. Holders of a driver’s license and proficiency in at least one other official language will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will undertake a variety of tasks, including managing correspondence, data capturing, and record keeping. Apart from maintaining the registrar, the incumbent will also tackle routine enquiries, document distribution, and fax transmissions. The job role also includes maintaining the unit’s filing system and interaction with stakeholders. The person is expected to arrange travel plans, often on short notice, and maintain the document registers pertaining to both incoming and outgoing communication for the unit.
