Where Are We Located?

We are situated in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. The Motus Isuzu Bloemfontein – Service Department is looking forward to welcoming our new Apprentice Motor Mechanic. This is a full-time role, and will contribute significantly to our team.

A Glimpse into Your Role

We are providing an opportunity for an Accredited Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship. The program combines the application of practical skills with theoretical knowledge under the guidance of a Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic.

The Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA), located in Ext 4, 16 Dakota Cres, Airport Park, Johannesburg, 1401 will deliver the classroom-based education.

What You Will be Doing

We will enforce the CBMT contract with merSETA and a learnership contract with Motus Isuzu Multi Franchise Zambezi along with all related terms and conditions. MIBCO minimum wages will apply for this Apprenticeship.

  1. On-the-job training at the Motus Isuzu Bloemfontein Service department.
  2. Computer-based testing and practical competency testing.
  3. Gathering evidence to complete a portfolio of evidence as required by ITTA.
  4. Working on the maintenance and repair of vehicles under the supervision of a trained technician.

The Key Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the role:

  • Matriculation (N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, and English with at least 50% marks)
  • A Driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Successful completion of a mechanical insight test
  • Credible background checks
  • A Medical assessment confirming fitness for work
