The Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) is dedicated to providing access to finance for survivalist businesses and Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) across South Africa. SEFA achieves this by offering wholesale and direct lending, credit guarantees to SMMEs, and support for the institutional strengthening of financial intermediaries. Through strategic partnerships and innovative finance products, SEFA aims to promote sustainable SMME development and increase market participation in the provision of affordable finance.
