National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF)

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is dedicated to supporting and promoting the development of the South African film industry, while reflecting the country's diversity and aspirations. With a focus on creativity, freedom of expression, and collaboration, the NFVF aims to increase the production of South African films by Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDIs), improve audience access to local films, and provide training opportunities in areas of scarce skills. As an entity overseen by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), the NFVF plays a vital role in fostering social cohesion and sharing the nation's stories through the powerful medium of film.
