National Development Agency (NDA)

The National Development Agency (NDA) is tasked with addressing poverty and its root causes by providing funding to civil society organizations for community development projects and enhancing the institutional capacity of organizations serving underprivileged communities. Through promoting consultation, dialogue, and sharing of development experiences, the NDA facilitates collaboration between civil society organizations and relevant government bodies. Additionally, the NDA engages in policy debates and conducts research to contribute to the formulation of effective development policies. As an integral part of the Department of Social Development (DSD), the NDA plays a crucial role in advancing social welfare and fostering sustainable development initiatives to uplift marginalized communities.
