The Council on Higher Education (CHE) is a dynamic organization working towards a transformed, equitable, and high-quality higher education and training system in South Africa. As the independent statutory quality council, the CHE leads quality assurance efforts, conducts research, initiates critical discussions on higher education, and provides strategic advice to the Minister.
