Castle Control Board

The Castle Control Board is a Schedule 3A Public Entity tasked with managing, maintaining, and promoting the Castle of Good Hope as a heritage site and tourist attraction. With a mission to create a globally recognized cultural and heritage brand, the Board aims to provide excellent public services, preserve the castle's cultural and military heritage, and elevate it to UNESCO World Heritage status. Working under the oversight of the Department of Defence, the Castle Control Board values service quality, honesty, diversity, partnerships, community engagement, and fiscal responsibility in fulfilling its responsibilities.
