Eligibility Criteria

Applicants interested in this role are expected to meet certain requirements which include:

  • The possession of a minimum Grade 10 . However, a Grade 12 education is considered to be an added advantage.
  • Preference for a valid ‘s license.
  • Bilingualism along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preference is for applicants residing within the Midvaal area.
  • Maintaining a good physical health and capability to perform physical labor.
  • At least 01-year relevant experience in general work within a purification or waste water treatment works section within a Local Government Authority is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

The duties of the successful candidate will include:

  1. Loading and off-loading materials and equipment safely.
  2. Placing traffic signs during roadwork to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.
  3. Maintaining cleanliness in and around work areas.
  4. Executing various labor-related tasks as instructed by supervisors.
  5. with all legal instructions to ensure productivity and smooth operation.
