Salary: R125 373 per annum

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10-12 Education level.
• Certificate in food preparation/catering.
• 6 months to 1-year experience in a hospital environment.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge on Batho-Pele principles is desirable.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Acceptance for shift work, night duty, weekends, and public holidays is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals as per the meal plan.
• Control meal distribution to the wards.
• Prepare normal & therapeutic diets.
• Perform routine tasks and operate food service equipment.
• Adherence to standard hygiene and safety measures.
• Conduct cleaning services in storerooms, refrigerators, kitchen, and equipment.
• Willingness to undertake continuous training and development.
• Availability to perform other duties as may be delegated by your supervisor.
