Desired Qualification and Skill Set
Applicants must hold a Grade 12 Certificate. Here are the job-related skills expected from candidates:
- Basic knowledge of financial functions
- Ability to capture data and operate computer
- Capability to collate financial statistics
- Understanding of the Public Service financial legislation and Treasury Regulations
- Familiarity with basic financial operating systems
Furthermore, candidates must possess the following ability and skills:
- Planning and organising skills
- Computer literacy skills
- Flexibility skills
- Strong communication ability in both verbal and written formats
- Interpersonal relations skills
- Basic numeracy skills
A valid driver’s license is a significant addition. The candidate must be able to work within a team, perform routine tasks, operate office equipment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Job Roles and Responsibilities

Bookkeeping Support Services | Capture all financial transactions, clear suspense accounts, record debtors and creditors, process electronic banking transactions, compile journals. |
Financial Accounting Transactions | Receive and scrutinize invoices, fill all documents, collect cash. |
Salary Administration Support Services | Receive salary advices, process advices, file all documents. |
Budget Support Service | Collect information from budget holders, compare expenditure against the budget, identify variances, distribute budget documents, file documents. |
Cash Payment | Receive and capture cash payment. |
