Key Requirements
Prospective candidates should possess the following:
- Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Essential computer literacy
- Valid driver’s license and /or administrative experience will be an added advantage.
Post Duties
The appointed individual will handle the following tasks:
- Assist in administration of Social Grants at Local Office Level
- Screen grant applications
- Capture applications on the system
- Provide excellent customer care
- Perform other grants administration functions
- Apply rigorous quality control on grant applications
- Ensure strict adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act
Notes About the Positions
These positions represent the minimum demands. Appoints will be subject to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, reference, ITC, and criminal checks. It is incumbent on the applicant to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) prior to the selection procedure. Note that SASSA is under no compulsion to fill a post after its advertisement.
