DMRE Bursary: Eligibility Criteria

As an applicant for the DMRE Bursary, you need to satisfy the following criteria:

  4. You show intent to establish a career in the field of Mining and Minerals.
  5. You plan to pursue future education at an accredited University or University of Technology in South Africa.
  6. Confirmation of unemployment at the time of signing the bursary agreement is required.
  7. Preference is given to first-year students.

Note: Postgraduate students and candidates with less than level 6 (HG symbol B) in Science and Mathematics are not eligible to apply.
