Eligibilities and Responsibilities

What Do You Need?
  1. An ABET certificate or relevant qualification.
  2. Cleaning experience in the laboratory will add more weight to your application.
  3. Basic knowledge of cleaning principles, chemical use, and cleaning equipment.
  4. Understanding of health safety requirements, record keeping, and laboratory safety rules.
  5. Good communication skills and interpersonal relations are vital.
What is Expected of You?
  • Ensuring the laboratory and equipment are kept clean and utilizing the required procedures to remove laboratory waste.
  • Completing relevant forms to maintain traceability of laboratory activities.
  • Managing stocks of cleaning materials and requesting supplies as needed. This includes washing and stocking cutlery and utensils.
  • Preparing boardrooms for meetings and ensuring all facilities are clean and functioning properly (including restrooms).
  • Reporting any instances of broken machines and equipment for repair.
