Bell Equipment Bursaries 2024: Financial Aid for University, University of Technology and FET College Students

About the Bell Equipment Bursaries 2024

Bell Equipment extends its support towards education through bursaries for candidates who are eager to pursue their education across various fields. The bursaries can be renewed on an annual basis, depending on the Company’s discretion and the availability of funds. However, it’s important to note that the duration of the bursaries will not exceed the standard term of the respective course.

These bursaries are applicable for study at any South African university chosen by the candidate, provided it is approved by the Bell Equipment Company / Bell Equipment Foundation Trust. Please note that recipients are not allowed to accept any other bursary funding except academic performance grants from the educational institution.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Pursue full-time studies in one of the specified qualifications. Part-time and correspondence studies will not receive funding.
  • Commence your 2nd year of study in 2024.
  • Attend a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University, University of Technology, FET College).
  • Maintain an overall average of at least 65% in the current academic year.
  • Do not receive any other bursary funding (excluding academic performance grants awarded by your institution).
  • Have a passion for design and innovation, along with high energy and motivation levels.

Application Process

The application process is simple and straightforward. It begins with downloading and completing the official application form from the Bell Equipment website. Do ensure all information provided is accurate and up-to-date. In addition to the form, applicants also need to submit certified copies of their ID, most recent academic results or reports, and information confirming the salary or payments of their parent/guardian. The last step in the process is a review of the application by the selection committee. As such, any misrepresentation or false claims will lead to disqualification. The deadline for applications is 20 October 2023, so start your process as soon as possible.
