Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science (Maths Literacy NOT accepted)
- N3 Certificate or relevant Engineering NCV Certificate
- Having additional technical trade-related subjects could be advantageous
Experience:
No prior experience is required for this job.
Duties:
- Theoretical class attendance at an approved provider
- On-site training at the relevant plant
- Complete the designated trade curriculum per CHIETA schedule
Job Competencies:
- An individual of 18-26 years who is medically fit
- Excellent communication skills
- Strict adherence to academic guidelines
- Ability to meet high performance standards
- High energy levels, self-motivated and able to deliver high-quality work
- Attention to detail and an eagerness to stay updated with the latest techniques and equipment
- Good interpersonal skills are needed as well
