Key Requisites

  • Senior certificate or equivalent Grade 12 qualification
  • Proficiency in computer operations
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and basic numeracy skills
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative abilities
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, methods, and materials, along with related safety protocols
  • Capability to write comprehensive reports

Role Responsibilities

  1. Manage attendance records of cleaners.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of the physical environment to ensure hygiene and cleanliness.
  3. Maintain the cleaning equipment stock, ensuring optimum condition and availability.
  4. Handle the ordering, receiving, and issuing of cleaning materials.
  5. Ensure safe storage of cleaning equipment and materials.
  6. Address any grievance among cleaning staff effectively.
  7. Compile detailed attendance reports.
  8. Delegate work responsibilities judiciously.
  9. Assist in the cleaning of certain areas within the building as needed.
