AECI’s Job Vacancy as Fire Officer 2024

As a part of our expansion plans, we are offering job seekers the opportunity to work for us as qualified Fire Officers. As a Fire Officer, you will be required to:

  • Carefully monitor all fire equipment for compliance
  • Design and implement complete fire training programs
  • React swiftly and accurately to emergency situations
  • Conduct regular emergency response drills
  • Inspect all security and fire equipment
  • Be proactive during critical situations
  • Conduct patrols around the site
  • Oversee smooth access and exit while abiding by security protocols

Eligibility Criteria

Higher Certificate or Post-Secondary Certificate
Grade 12 qualification
3-5 years of industry-related experience
Registered for BAA/First Aid Level 3 with HPCSA
Valid Code C1 Driver’s License
PSIRA, Fire-Fighting, and Hazmat certificates.
Computer literacy skills
Completion of an Advanced Fire Fighting course
