Job Details and Perks

The appointed Grants Administrators will earn an annual salary between R202 233 and R235 611. Benefits are not included with this pay rate.

The job openings are located at two different sites:

  • 2 positions at Nkomazi Local Office within the Ehlanzeni District (REF NO: SAS/MPU/23/14)
  • 1 position at Msukaligwa Local Office within the Gert Sibande District (REF NO: SAS/MPU/23/15)

Job Requirements

At minimum, candidates should possess a Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) and have essential computer skills.

Added advantage: Having a valid driver’s license and / or previous administrative / clerical experience could make you a preferred candidate.

Task Inventory

As a Grants Administrator, your role will entail several duties:

  1. Administrative support for Social Grants at the local office level
  2. Screening all grant applications effectively
  3. Application data entry into the system
  4. Providing customer care
  5. Processing other grant documentation and executing other grants administration tasks
  6. Quality control on grant applications and ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3)
