Eligibility

Prospective applicants should have a certification that is admissible for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant accompanied by proof of present registration. It’s necessary that candidates can function within a multidiscipline team and handle the high-pressure atmosphere health care offers. Strong communication skills are also paramount, with a focus on maintaining respect and dignity when dealing with patients and their relatives.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the successful candidates range from helping patients with day-to-day activities (physical care) to providing basic clinical nursing care. Other duties include maintaining professional growth/ethical standards and self-development. Displaying a basic understanding of nursing procedures, as well as the ability to carry out legal instructions, is required.
