Established in 2002 through the merger of former technical colleges, West Coast TVET College has grown into a leading institution in South Africa’s Western Cape. The college operates across five campuses:

Choose from two accredited programme streams tailored to industry needs:

NATED Programmes (Report 191)

  • Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering

NCV Programmes (National Certificate Vocational)

  • Engineering: Process Plant Operations, Building Construction, Transport & Logistics
  • Business: Office Administration, Marketing, Finance
  • Services: Tourism, Hospitality

Admission Requirements (2026 Entry)

  • NATED Engineering: Matric with Maths & Physical Science/Technical subjects OR NCV Level 4 in related field.
  • NATED Business/Utility: Matric with Business/Hospitality subjects OR NCV Level 4.
  • NCV Programmes: Grade 9 certificate OR ABET Level 4.

How to Apply Online for 2026

  1. Visit the West Coast TVET College Application Portal.
  2. New applicants: Click “Apply Here” and create a profile.
    Returning students: Log in with your student number and PIN.
  3. Complete the PACE Career Assessment to evaluate your numeracy and literacy skills.

  • The test can be resumed if interrupted.
  • Results guide course selection but are not binding.
