Qualifications and Experience:
- B Degree / National Higher Diploma or National Diploma (NQF 6/7) in Information Technology.
- 5-8 years’ experience in specialized Development field.
- ROC: 8 years’ relevant experience supervising ICT activities, with 3 years supervisory/managerial or specialist.
- Advantageous: Transnet Leadership Development Programme.
- Certifications (beneficial): ITIL, TOGAF, COBIT, ISO 20000, Agile, DevOps, Lean.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willing to travel and work extended hours.
- Trust and honesty requirements per National Credit Act.

Position Purpose:
This role involves delivering specific tasks within a work-stream or department. As a Young Professional-in-Training, responsibilities include shadowing staff, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops, and gaining exposure to procurement functions for practical experience. Key areas include:
- Communicating with customers to understand needs and provide updates.
- Serving as central contact for suppliers and end-user queries, ensuring timely resolution.
- Providing administrative, research, and assistance support.
- Taking briefs from mentors to structure work.
- Executing project tasks individually and collaboratively.
- Producing clear reports in MS Office formats.
- Delivering quality work for project solutions.
