Senior Manager: Information Technology

Position Purpose

Provide strategic leadership and operational management to develop efficient IT infrastructure supporting TCTA’s national water management operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with organizational objectives
  • Manage R120M+ IT budget and resource allocation
  • Oversee service delivery including infrastructure (1500+ endpoints), cybersecurity systems, and enterprise applications
  • Lead 25+ member technical team across 3 regional offices
  • Ensure compliance with PFMA and national ICT regulations

Requirements

  • Honours Degree in IT/Computer Science (NQF 8)
  • 10 years ICT experience with 5+ years at senior management level
  • Certifications: PMP/COBIT/ITIL (advantageous)
  • Proven track record in enterprise system migrations

IT Support Engineer

  • Maintain Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environment
  • Manage hardware inventory (300+ laptops/desktops)
  • Conduct staff training sessions (bi-monthly)

Requirements

  • NQF 6 Diploma in IT
  • CompTIA A+/N+ & Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
  • 3 years hands-on technical support experience
  • Experience with SAP systems (advantageous)
