About SIU
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is an independent statutory body established to investigate corruption, malpractice, and maladministration in government institutions. We work to recover financial losses and promote accountability across state entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cyber forensic investigations and digital evidence analysis
- Develop cybersecurity programs aligned with organizational objectives
- Manage complex data interpretation and fraud detection systems
- Oversaw forensic quality assurance processes
- Coordinate with law enforcement and legal teams on evidence handling
Requirements
- Honours Degree in Cyber Forensics or related field (NQF 8)
- 6-8 years investigative experience (4 years at management level)
- Expert knowledge of ECT Act and RICA legislation
- Proficiency in network systems and multiple operating systems
- Valid certification in digital forensics (preferred)
