
Senior Manager: Risk Management
About the Role
We seek an experienced risk management professional to lead our organizational risk strategy implementation. This senior leadership position plays a crucial role in enabling TCTA’s strategic objectives through effective risk governance across infrastructure development, funding initiatives, and treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the risk management team through strategic guidance and mentorship
- Conduct comprehensive organizational risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Analyze risk exposure and present detailed reports to Executive Committee and Board members
- Monitor financial risk factors including liquidity, interest rate fluctuations, and foreign exchange impacts
- Develop and implement critical frameworks:
- Enterprise Risk Management Policy
- Business Continuity Management System
- Corporate Risk Appetite Framework
- Fraud Prevention Strategy
- Treasury Risk Protocols
- Ensure compliance with JSE listing requirements and financial regulations
- Collaborate with internal audit to establish combined assurance processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- Honours Degree in Risk Management, Finance, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in enterprise risk management
- At least 2 years’ experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Professional certification in risk management (CRM Prac/CIA preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial risk analysis and mitigation
- Proven track record in policy development and implementation
