About SASRIA (South African Special Risk Insurance Association)

This year, SASRIA has come forth with a bursaries program for academically talented and conscientious individuals seeking to further their education. Candidates for the SASRIA bursaries are required to uphold an outstanding academic track record to secure registration. In addition, they should demonstrate leadership qualities that make them excellent representatives of the bursary programs. Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the bursaries, interested candidates should meet specific eligibility criteria:
- Officially recognised South African citizen
- Age between 18-35
- Completed Matriculation qualification or currently in the process
- Currently pursuing or planning to pursue a full-time undergraduate degree qualification
- Achieved a minimum average B symbol (70%) in Matric
- Applying for First year in 2024 academic year
- Applications allowed for only one time
Note: Late and incomplete applications will be disregarded. The field of study should correlate with the list provided above. A minimum B symbol is needed for candidates already possessing a National Senior certificate.
