Remuneration: R35,043.67 per month (Basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- 5-8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional body registration eligibility (advantageous)
Core Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of capital (Capex) and operational (Opex) projects
- Manage project budgets up to R35 million
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors
- Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and quality standards
- Implement risk management strategies
- Maintain stakeholder relationships across seven municipal regions
- Prepare detailed progress reports and technical documentation
Essential Competencies
- Advanced project management skills (MS Project/Primavera experience preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles
- Excellent contract management capabilities
- Proven leadership in infrastructure development projects
- Comprehensive understanding of municipal IDP frameworks
