About the Role
Join IFC – the largest global development institution focused on private sector growth in emerging markets. We’re seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to drive talent acquisition strategies across Africa from our Johannesburg office, contributing to economic development in 100+ countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for regional positions (posting to onboarding)
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
- Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs and selection processes
- Lead diversity initiatives and improve candidate experience metrics
- Oversee recruitment drives and batch hiring programs in Africa
- Organize regional talent outreach events and employer branding activities
- Mentor junior recruitment team members
Qualifications Requirements
- Master’s degree in HR or related field
- 5+ years’ recruitment experience (international organizations preferred)
- Proven success in African talent markets
- Fluency in English (French language skills advantageous)
- Expertise in applicant tracking systems and recruitment metrics
- Strong knowledge of labor trends in African emerging markets
