Job Summary
The successful candidate will manage and oversee the effective sourcing of catering produce, goods, and services. They will also handle accurate inventory management and stock control to support the daily operations of Parliament’s restaurants and cafeteria. Additionally, the role includes providing support for catering systems related to inventory management and point-of-sale processes.

Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4, plus a National Diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement or a related qualification at NQF Level 6
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, with experience in the hospitality industry being an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years of proven supervisory experience

- National Diploma in Communications, Multi-media Productions / Digital Media Design / Film and Video Production or a related qualification (NQF Level 6)
- 5 years’ relevant experience in digital communication, film and video productions, and multimedia productions

Knowledge and Technical Skills
- Strong visual sense with the ability to advise on display, set design, and visual composition
- Advanced multimedia production skills, including directing, editing, scripting, and packaging
- Good knowledge of the South African Broadcasting Code of Conduct and relevant copyright and data protection laws
- Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual and written content (e.g., complex policy or legislative topics into accessible visual content for a broad audience)
- Proficiency in radio and television production, including live broadcasts and pre-recorded content
- Familiarity with non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Operational knowledge of digital on-air systems and automation software used in broadcasting environments
- Understanding of video servers, media asset management, broadcast workflows, and signal routing

The Specialist: Graphic Design also provides a strategic visual communication service for the entire PCS division, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and accessible visual content that effectively communicates Parliament’s work to diverse audiences across all communication channels in line with Parliament’s communication strategy and brand guidelines.
