Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate
- National Diploma in Building Management, Facilities Management or Civil Engineering (NQF 6)
- 3-4 years experience in building/facilities management
Core Responsibilities
Facility Management
- Oversee building maintenance and infrastructure repairs
- Manage pest control and environmental safety measures
- Implement OHASA compliance programs
Operations Leadership
- Develop emergency response plans
- Lead team performance management
- Coordinate budgeting and financial planning (MFMA compliance)
Strategic Functions
- Improve asset management systems (GRAP 17 standards)
- Enhance stakeholder relationships
- Implement risk management protocols
Required Competencies
- Technical knowledge of municipal infrastructure policies
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent written communication for technical reporting
