About MDDA:
The Media Development and Diversity Agency is a statutory development entity established through the MDDA Act No. 14 of 2002. We partner with government and media organizations to develop diverse media platforms that reflect South Africa’s multicultural society.
Position Overview:
We seek an experienced ICT Specialist to manage system implementation, maintenance, and infrastructure support. This 3-year contract position requires a technical professional to ensure optimal IT operations aligned with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
- Provide comprehensive technical support
- Manage system upgrades and security protocols
- Develop and enforce IT policies/procedures
- Oversaw network administration and data management
- Coordinate with external IT service providers
Requirements:
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Information Technology (National Diploma or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant IT experience
- Proven track record in system administration
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security
- Valid SAQA verification for foreign qualifications
