Minimum Requirements

  • 4-year degree/diploma in Library & Information Science (NQF Level 7)
  • 1-3 years public library experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and library management systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily library operations and workflow
  • Supervise staff and maintain library collections
  • Handle financial administration for library services
  • Facilitate effective internal and community communication
  • Coordinate public programs and community outreach

Required Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
  • Experience in project coordination
