Minimum Requirements
- 4-year degree/diploma in Library & Information Science (NQF Level 7)
- 1-3 years public library experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and library management systems
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily library operations and workflow
- Supervise staff and maintain library collections
- Handle financial administration for library services
- Facilitate effective internal and community communication
- Coordinate public programs and community outreach
Required Competencies
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
- Experience in project coordination
- Commitment to public service principles (Batho Pele)
- Ability to work under pressure
