Available Positions
1. Mechanical Engineering Substitute Lecturer (4-Month Contract)
Reference: KHC2025/07/01/TEK01
Salary: R270,498 per annum
Campus: King Hintsa TVET College Main Campus
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Valid teaching qualification
- SACE registration
- 2+ years teaching experience
- Artisan qualification in Motor/Diesel Mechanics
- Assessor/Moderator certification (advantageous)
- TVET sector experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach NCV Level 2-4 Mechanical Engineering subjects
- Develop lesson plans and practical workshop sessions
- Conduct student assessments and track academic progress
- Maintain workshop equipment and safety standards
- Complete ICASS documentation and admin reporting
2. Life Skills & Computer Literacy Lecturer (4-Month Contract)
Reference: KHC2025/07/01TEK02
Salary: R270,498 per annum
Campus: King Hintsa TVET College Main Campus
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- 3-year Diploma/Degree in Computer Studies
- Valid teaching qualification
- SACE registration
- 2+ years teaching experience
- ICT integration teaching skills
- Assessor certification (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach NCV Level 2-4 Life Skills & Computer Literacy
- Manage computer lab resources and digital learning
- Develop student digital literacy competencies
- Implement college assessment policies
- Participate in curriculum development
