About the Role
SARS seeks an experienced SAP Basis specialist to support enterprise IT systems through installation, configuration, and optimization of SAP environments. The role requires deep technical expertise in SAP HANA, Linux systems, cloud solutions integration, and system troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations
- Configure and maintain SAP environments including HANA databases
- Implement security protocols including Single Sign-On solutions
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
Requirements
- NQF 7 qualification in IT + 5-7 years SAP Basis experience
- Expertise in SAP HANA, Sybase, and Linux environments
- SAP certification and interface integration knowledge
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, SuccessFactors)
