About Us
Johannesburg City Theatres (JCT), a key entity of the City of Johannesburg, invites unemployed youth to apply for our Technical Live Event Production Learnership. This 12-month programme combines classroom learning with practical theater experience, leading to a nationally recognized NQF Level 4 qualification.
Programme Overview

- ✅ Earn a valuable qualification while gaining workplace experience
Minimum Requirements
- 🎓 Completed Grade 10 minimum (Grade 12 preferred)
- 📆 Age 18-35 years
- 📍 Johannesburg residency (proof required)
- 🗣️ Good English communication skills
- 💡 Passion for technical production and live events
- 🚫 Clean criminal record
