Position Summary

Eskom Distribution Division is looking for 5 Youth Employment Service (YES) Learners at Grade YY1. The role is part of the Retail Department within the LimLanga Cluster. Successful candidates will receive a 12‑month contract and will be placed in Eskom Operations across South Africa.

About the YES Programme

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a public‑private initiative led by the Presidency to tackle youth unemployment. Eskom offers young South Africans a chance to gain their first work experience in the energy sector.

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizen
• Age 18 to 34
• Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy
• English and at least one other South African official language

Selection Criteria

• Not employed permanently with a single employer for more than one year
• Not studying full‑time during the year of employment
• Not previously registered on the YES initiative
