Introduction

Eskom Distribution Division is looking for 2 YES Learners (Grade YY1) in the Retail Department, LimLanga Cluster, at Louis Trichard.

Job Description

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a public‑private initiative led by the Presidency to address youth unemployment. Eskom is creating work opportunities for unemployed South African youth in line with BBBEE. This is a life‑changing first work experience in the energy industry.

Successful candidates will receive a 12‑month contract and may be placed in any Eskom Operations across South Africa.

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizen
• Aged 18 to 34
• Grade 12 with maths or maths literacy
• English and at least one other South African official language

Selection Criteria

• Not employed permanently with a single employer for more than 1 year
• Not studying full time during the year of employment
• Not previously registered on the YES initiative

Applicants will go through a recruitment process and, if successful, will be placed in Eskom Operations across the divisions.
