Transnet, the backbone of South Africa’s freight logistics chain, is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resource Management through a structured 24-month training program.
Position Purpose
The Young Professional-in-Training program is designed to provide recent graduates with valuable workplace experience. You will have the opportunity to shadow experienced staff, participate in learning activities, and attend meetings. This program will equip you with practical skills in:
- Understanding customer needs and updating them regularly
- Resolving queries efficiently
- Providing administrative support
- Completing tasks assigned by your Mentor
- Working on projects independently and as part of a team
- Preparing clear and logical reports
- Delivering high-quality work
Qualifications and Experience
- National Diploma or BCom Degree in Human Resources
- 0-1 year of relevant experience
- Must be a South African citizen
- Age between 18-35
Key Skills
- Good communication and written skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
