- Qualification: Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or a related field
- Experience: 0 – 1 year
- Age Requirement: 18 – 35 years
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen
Position Purpose
As a Young Professional-in-Training, you will gain practical experience by shadowing experienced staff, attending meetings, and participating in workshops. You will also be exposed to various functions within the organization to enhance your understanding of Health and Safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Shadow experienced staff and engage in learning opportunities to gain practical knowledge
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and keep them updated on progress
- Address queries and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Provide general administrative and research support
- Execute project tasks efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
- Produce high-quality work that contributes to project solutions
Required Skills and Competencies
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
