Introduction

This role focuses on providing excellent service to customers. You will offer advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements to boost sales and build customer loyalty.

Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by being visible in the store and proactive in meeting customer needs, using your knowledge of health and supplements.
• Consult with customers and recommend suitable healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
• Promote healthcare sales to meet targets by cross-selling and upselling various brands to increase profits.
• Ensure stock is always available in the healthcare aisles by following stock management rules and procedures.
• Avoid waste in your area by rotating stock properly.
• Prevent stock losses by sticking to all risk management policies.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in the store to create a welcoming environment for shoppers.
• Set up products for display by following merchandising guidelines.
• Follow all store operating procedures.
• Support ongoing service by developing your skills, learning about products, and sharing knowledge with relief staff.

Knowledge Required:

• Desirable: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements.
• Essential: Basic understanding of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management.

Skills Required:

• Essential: Strong communication and interaction skills; customer service focus; selling skills; merchandising skills.
• Desirable: Basic computer skills.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Essential: Matric certificate.
• Desirable: Qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition.
