Position: Work Integrated Non-Technical Learner

Location: Cape Town and Saldanha Terminals

Duration: 18 months

Position Purpose

<p"This Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme offers students and recent graduates practical workplace experience to apply their academic knowledge in real-world situations. The programme enhances employability through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-specific tasks."

Key Responsibilities

• Task Execution: Assist with specific projects and routine tasks, support administrative functions, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Learning & Development: Participate in training, workshops, and mentorship programmes. Shadow experienced professionals and engage in problem-solving activities to build analytical skills.
• Communication & Collaboration: Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs. Provide regular updates on tasks and serve as a central contact point for queries.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Maintain ethical and professional standards while ensuring confidentiality.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports using MS Office tools. Assist in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Matric certificate/equivalent qualification in Public Relations and Communications (N6).
• Must be a South African citizen aged between 18 and 35.
• Preference will be given to People with Disabilities.
• No bursary obligations with another company.
• Submit certified copies of Matric certificate, academic records, ID, and a TVET college experiential learning letter.
