WMOS Training Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with the Cluster Business Unit teams.
- Help deliver IT projects from the planning stage to successful completion.
- Communicate with the WMOS and Training Specialist to meet project plans and timelines.
- Escalate any issues related to projects or implementation.
- Support product management for new business initiatives.
- Establish productive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Compile and submit all training-related reports on time.
- Develop and update training materials with the latest information.
- Schedule and deliver training sessions based on operational needs.
- Demonstrate best practices to trainees.
- Drive cost savings through efficient use of warehouse systems.
- Identify and reduce risks in warehouse systems.
- Support change initiatives for new system implementations.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with sites and clients.
- Assist the WMOS and Training Specialist with preparation for delivery, reporting after sessions, and facilitating training for new system roll-outs.
- Handle other tasks assigned by the WMOS and Training Specialist, such as scheduling sessions and confirming attendance.
- Support the WMOS and Training Specialist with people management and development activities.
- Facilitate achievement of module objectives while following the Systems Training Framework and procedures, including managing attendance, assessments, certification, and reports.
Qualifications / Skills / Competencies / Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
- 3 – 4 years of administration experience
- 1 – 2 years of logistics or warehousing experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
- Deadline-driven mindset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and hazard identification
- Ability to meet work targets and take on extra responsibilities
- Computer literacy
