Job Description: Winding Engine Driver

Hire Resolve, a leading Specialist Recruitment & Staffing company, is seeking an experienced Winding Engine Driver for a prominent mining company based in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain winder systems and related infrastructure safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and compliant operation of winder systems, adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Promote a zero-harm culture by following safety procedures and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of winder installations as required.
• Participate in shift handovers and planning to ensure effective communication and task execution.
• Maintain safe shaft transportation of personnel, materials, and ore.
• Complete reports, defect logs, and incident documentation accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 5 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver in the mining industry (Gold mining preferred).
• Extensive underground mining experience.
• Winding Engine Driver’s Certificate of Competency.
• Onsetter Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License.
