Job Description

Key Objectives:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by being visible in the store and proactive in meeting customer needs, using knowledge of health and supplements.
• Consult with customers and recommend suitable healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
• Promote a wide range of brands to meet sales targets through cross-selling and upselling for better profitability.
• Maintain stock availability in healthcare aisles by following stock management procedures to support sales.
• Avoid wastage in your area by applying stock rotation principles.
• Prevent stock losses by adhering to all risk management policies.
• Keep high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the store to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to display products effectively.
• Comply with all store operating procedures.
• Ensure smooth service by developing your skills and product knowledge, and sharing information with relief staff.

Knowledge

• Desirable: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements.
• Essential: Basic understanding of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management.

Skills

• Essential: Strong communication and interaction skills; customer service orientation; selling skills; merchandising skills.
• Desirable: Basic computer literacy.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Essential: Matric (50% in English, 50% in Maths or 60% in Maths Literacy, and a pass in Physical Science or Life Science).
• Desirable: Qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition.
