This role focuses on providing excellent service to customers by offering knowledgeable advice on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements. The goal is to increase sales and build customer loyalty.
Job Description
Key Objectives:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by being visible in the store and proactive in addressing customer needs, using knowledge of health and supplements.
- Consult with customers and recommend suitable healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
- Promote healthcare sales to meet targets by cross-selling and upselling various brands to boost profitability.
- Maintain stock availability in healthcare aisles by following stock management principles and procedures to support sales.
- Prevent wastage in your area by applying stock rotation principles.
- Avoid stock losses by following all risk management policies.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the store to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Assist with product merchandising by adhering to guidelines and procedures.
- Follow all store standard operating procedures.
- Ensure service continuity by developing your skills, product knowledge, and sharing information with relief staff.
Minimum Requirements
Job Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements products.
- Basic understanding of retail operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management.
Job-Related Skills:
- Good communication and interaction skills.
- Customer and service orientation.
- Selling skills.
- Merchandising skills.
- Basic computer literacy (desirable).
Job Experience:
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin products.
- Selling skills and customer-related training.
Education:
- Matric (50% pure / 50% lit).
- English 50%.
- Pass in Life Science or Physics.
- Sports / fitness / nutrition qualification (desirable).
