Job Description

Job Objectives:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through in-store visibility and proactivity to customer needs, using knowledge of health and supplements.
  • Consult with customers and provide suitable advice on healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
  • Drive healthcare sales to meet targets by promoting a wide range of brands through cross-selling and upselling to increase profitability.
  • Ensure stock availability in healthcare aisles by following stock management principles and procedures to drive sales.
  • Prevent wastage in your area by adhering to stock rotation principles.
  • Prevent stock losses by following all risk management policies and principles.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the store to create an appealing shopping environment for customers.
  • Assist in product merchandising by following merchandising guidelines and procedures.
  • Adhere to all store standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure continuity of service by focusing on your development, product knowledge, and sharing information with relief staff.

Minimum Requirements

Job Knowledge:

  • Essential: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements products.
  • Essential: Basic knowledge of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management.

Job-Related Skills:

  • Essential: Good communication and interaction skills.
  • Essential: Customer and service orientation.
  • Essential: Selling skills.
  • Essential: Merchandising skills.
  • Desirable: Basic computer literacy.

Job Experience:

  • Essential: At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Essential: Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin-related products.
  • Essential: Selling skills and customer-related training.

Education:

  • Essential: Matric (50% pure / 50% lit).
  • Essential: English 50%.
  • Essential: Pass in Life Science or Physics.
  • Desirable: Sports, fitness, or nutrition qualification.
