Job Description

The successful candidate will support wealth advisers with management, administration, and client interactions. You will help build relationships and deliver excellent client service.

During the 18-month program, you will focus on implementing new business, executing marketing plans, and providing client support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather policy information and compile summaries.
  • Prepare client reviews and proposals using standard templates.
  • Enter data into Excel spreadsheets.
  • Research product details.
  • Process new applications and generate quotes.
  • Handle and resolve client inquiries for existing business.
  • Manage diaries for new and existing cases, as well as for the wealth adviser.
  • Schedule appointments between advisers and clients.
  • Prepare materials for investment review meetings.
  • Update and maintain the CRM system.
  • Rebalance and monitor existing portfolios.
  • Prepare and send monthly or quarterly statements.
  • Organize administrative documents and keep detailed records.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Record transaction details accurately.
  • Meet service level agreement deadlines.
  • Manage policy renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with FAIS regulations.
  • Load new and existing business policies into systems.

Minimum Requirements

  • A completed BCom degree, preferably in Finance, Investment Planning, Risk Management, Financial Planning, or Economics.
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial services is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid technical and administrative abilities.
