Job Title: Water Tanker Driver

Location: KwaZulu-Natal

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: R 255,564 per annum (Salary Scale: R 255,564 – R 331,758 pa)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Secondary Education
  • Code EC driving licence with PDP
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Driver

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Understanding of road traffic regulations, including the South African Road Traffic Act and municipal driving policies
  • Knowledge of water delivery systems, including safe and efficient loading, transportation, and offloading of water
  • Proficient driving skills for operating heavy-duty water tankers safely and efficiently
  • Able to inspect vehicles and report faults
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including occupational safety and handling of potable water
  • Accountability for the careful use of municipal vehicles and assets
