Position: Water Quality Manager (WQM & RPS Areas) – WASA20735
Employment Type: Full Time
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree/B-Tech in Natural Science
Experience Needed: 3 years in related field
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Department: Science & Environmental Management
Key Requirements:
- Professional registration as Natural Scientist (Water Quality specialization)
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience in water quality management systems
- Strong understanding of water legislation and compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee potable water quality and industrial effluent standards
- Manage environmental water monitoring programs
- Lead laboratory operations and contractor coordination
- Develop compliance strategies for water regulations
- Prepare detailed regulatory reports
- Manage team performance and budgets
- Collaborate with stakeholders on water policy implementation
