Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Operator & Driver to join our team. This role will assist in managing engineering spares, ensuring efficient receiving, storing, picking, issuing, and delivering products to various sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in controlling engineering spares, including receiving, storing, picking, issuing, and delivering to local and cross-border sites.
• Ensure the correct number of parts are received and accurately recorded.
• Offload products from vehicles and move them into storage areas.
• Pick and assemble parts from pick lists or reservations.
• Operate a forklift when necessary.
• Handle the movement of products between sites and storage areas.
• Collect and deliver spares as required.
• Ensure equipment and tools are in good working order and report any defects to the Team Leader.
• Support the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.
• Comply with Safety, Health, and Environment standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in and around storage areas.
• Adhere to company policies, systems, and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in storekeeping and material handling.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculations.
