Job Description:

The Warehouse Driver will be responsible for delivering goods to customer sites and ensuring all necessary paperwork is maintained. When not on delivery, the driver will assist with warehouse tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all driving duties safely and efficiently.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles with a focus on safety and customer service.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Check vehicle for safety, fuel, oil, and water before departure.
• Maintain accurate records of trips and prepare incident reports when necessary.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and outside.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using maps and directions.
• Comply with South African road laws and regulations.
• Present a professional image and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team leader or manager.

Warehouse Duties:

• Follow correct processes and work instructions.
• Assist with stock picking and dispatch operations.
• Help with receiving and storing incoming stock.
• Maintain stock accuracy and participate in cycle counts and stock-taking.
• Keep the warehouse neat and orderly.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Conduct operations safely and perform safety checks on equipment before use.

Requirements:

• Matric qualification.
• Code 10 Driver’s License with PDP (at least two years of experience).
• 2 – 5 years of driving experience in a similar industry.
• Certification in operating lifting equipment (Forklift, Turret Truck, Pallet).
• 2 years of warehouse environment experience.
• Safe driving record.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written communication).

• Ability to read and interpret road signs in English.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Vehicle maintenance awareness.
• Ability to operate lifting equipment.
